Privacy Policy

Last updated: April 2026 · mintmystar.com

Mint My Star (“we,” “us,” or “our”) operates the website mintmystar.com (the “Site”) and the commemorative star naming gift service described on the Site. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard information when you use the Site or complete a purchase.

Contact

For general questions about the Site or your order, please start with our Contact Us page. Privacy-specific requests: privacy@mintmystar.com

Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Site, we may collect:

  • Name — provided by you for personalization of your certificate and related materials.
  • Email address — provided by you so we can deliver your certificate and transactional messages about your order.
  • Solana wallet address — a public blockchain identifier you connect or provide for NFT minting and on-chain fulfillment. Wallet addresses are not secret; they are visible on the public Solana ledger.
  • Payment-related data — when you pay in USDC on Solana, transaction details (including wallet addresses, amounts, and transaction identifiers) are recorded on the public blockchain. We do not store full payment card numbers because checkout occurs on-chain in USDC.
  • Technical and usage data — such as browser type, device information, and limited log data needed to operate and secure the Site (e.g., IP address, timestamps, and pages viewed), collected in the ordinary course of hosting and analytics.

How we use information

We use the information above to:

  • Process and fulfill your order (including minting and delivery);
  • Send transactional emails related to your purchase;
  • Operate, maintain, and improve the Site and our services;
  • Detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security issues; and
  • Comply with applicable law and enforce our terms.

Email delivery (AWS SES)

We use Amazon Simple Email Service (AWS SES) to send transactional email (for example, certificate delivery and order-related notices). AWS processes message content and delivery metadata as a subprocessors on our behalf, in accordance with AWS’s terms and privacy practices.

Blockchain and public ledgers

Solana transactions and NFT metadata are public and, by design, difficult or impossible to alter or erase. If you interact with the blockchain through our service, certain information (such as wallet addresses, transaction history, and on-chain metadata tied to your mint) may be permanently visible to anyone with access to the network or block explorers. We do not control the Solana protocol or third-party explorers.

Sharing of information

We may share information with service providers who assist us (for example, email delivery, hosting, and security). We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect rights and safety, or in connection with a business transfer (such as a merger or acquisition), subject to applicable legal requirements.

Retention

We retain personal information for as long as needed to fulfill the purposes described in this policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Blockchain records may persist indefinitely outside our systems.

Your choices and rights

Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict certain processing of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise applicable rights, contact us via our Contact Us page or at privacy@mintmystar.com. We may need to verify your request. Some rights may be limited where we must retain information for legal or operational reasons.

Children

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected such information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

International users

If you access the Site from outside the United States, your information may be processed in the United States or other countries where privacy laws may differ from those in your jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and revise the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes your acknowledgment of the revised policy, to the extent permitted by law.
